Independent procurement coordination

Mechanical Seal Sourcing

Mechanical Seal Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. We help plant procurement managers, equipment importers and OEM project engineers request factory wholesale quotes for mechanical seal packages. We do not operate a factory, we do not publish warehouse stock, and we do not act as a brand-appointed reseller. Certificates, capacity statements and model ratings belong to the named manufacturer in each reply.

Buyer responsibilities

Buyers own the process description. Coordinators collect comparable replies. Manufacturers confirm feasibility. Commissioning sign-off stays with the purchase contract, not with this website.
  1. Buyer responsibilities: Sample run

Provide a representative fluid description, including solids and cleaning media, plus shaft, sleeve and chamber drawings. If a sample seal will be run, state whether the trial uses water, process fluid or a named surrogate, and record working pressure with the gauge reference. Public Type 21 sheets note that temperature and speed limits depend on materials; do not treat those pages as your trial plan.

  2. Site readiness

Name who owns alignment, flush-plan piping, cooling water, footprint around the stuffing box and any PLC interface used to trip on dry-run. A missing flush connection is a site-readiness gap, not a catalog defect. If the host machine is a centrifugal pump, include suction and discharge conditions that set chamber pressure.

  3. Owner acceptance

Write pass criteria before the order: leak-off method, flush flow, chamber temperature and documents the manufacturer must supply. Mechanical Seal Sourcing can restate those criteria across bidders; we cannot sign FAT or SAT. For a high-pressure brief, resolve the simultaneous operating point first on the Commissioning Guide.

We use Thomas-style supplier discovery, DirectIndustry-style catalog comparison and CYIMEX-style brief fields (specification, quantity, budget, time and quote boundary) as process patterns. Those platforms are research references, not partners we claim. Send a procurement inquiry when the buyer brief is ready.
